Supervised Independent Living

This six-plex has a 24/7 supervised unit that can accommodate two residents. The staff office is located in this unit. The other suites in this six-plex are considered transitional SIL in that they are not fully supervised but are subject to several regular check-ins throughout the day. Residents have their own suite unless there is a request for a sibling group to share. All of these units have separate entrances and are fully furnished, including individual washers and dryers. They are available for individuals from the ages of 16 to 22. If individuals are placed here, they will undergo a three-month assessment period to determine if they are compatible with the program and eventually to see if they are able to transition to a supported independent living unit. There is also a staff who lives on-site in one of the units.

Private Suites

The fourplex has fully furnished top and bottom suites for a maximum of four residents (unless there is a sibling group). They are available for individuals from the ages of 16 to 22, but the supports are not as intensive – up to 3 hours per weekday or regular daily check-ins, depending on caseworker requests. Placement in these units depend upon the potential resident’s maturity.
